Google Ads account review
If you're not sure whether your Google Ads account needs work, this is the cheapest way to find out.
You might be spending steadily, getting some results, and still have the nagging feeling that a chunk of it goes nowhere. Or you've inherited an account somebody else built and you can't tell what's actually in it.
Usually the answer is sitting in the account. Sometimes it isn't in the account at all, and the problem is the website the ads are pointing at. I'll tell you that too.
What I look at
- Where the money actually went. The search terms report, and what you paid for that was never going to buy anything
- Negative keywords, or more often the absence of them
- The campaign structure, and whether it's working with you or against you
- Keywords that shouldn't be there. Their structure, length and match type all change what you end up paying for
- Conversion tracking, and whether what it counts is real. This is the second thing I find wrong, and when it's wrong every decision made on top of it is wrong too
- Bidding and budgets, and whether the strategy matches what you're actually trying to achieve
What you get
- A written report, in plain English, with the numbers behind each finding
- A video walking through your account, so you can see the things I'm describing rather than take my word for them
- A call to go through it all and ask the obvious questions
- What I'd do about each thing, and in what order
- All of it within five working days of payment
It's specific to your account. There's no scorecard and no traffic lights.
And if the account's in decent shape, that's what the report says. I'd rather tell you that than find something to worry you about.
What it costs
£500 plus VAT.
The review ends when the report does. There's no obligation to do anything with it, no follow-up sequence, and no chasing. If you want me to fix what I found, that's the management service and it's priced separately.
How it works
- Send me your Google Ads customer ID. You'll find it top right when you're logged in, in the format 111-111-1111
- I request access, and you approve it through Tools and settings > Setup > Access and security > Managers, which is also where you'd remove me. I only need to read the account, and nothing gets changed
- You get an invoice covering the review
- Report, video and call within five working days of payment
